How Long Can I Expect my Assessment to Stay at the Reduced Price?
Your assessment will usually stay the same for many years. Most town’s reassessments occur every 10 to 40 years. The only way your assessment will increase before that, is if you have major repairs done to your property. In the case of renovations, a building permit, for example, could bring about a reassessment. Reassessments in the areas we service : Westchester, Rockland and Orange Counties NY generally occur once in a long time. It is not unusual for property owners to have the same assessment for over 10 years.
