Yonkers is a community with a robust real estate market and features attractive housing options in quaint neighborhoods within close walking distance to a variety of shops, jobs, and recreation with mass transit available for commuters.
The average sale price for a home in Yonkers is $445,000, and this figure is the same as it was 12 months ago. The average price per square foot is $296, and the average house will spend 38 days on the market before selling.

It’s not uncommon for some listings to get multiple offers, and hot homes tend to sell in about 21 days for an average of 3% above their asking price. There are currently 1,049 homes available for purchase, 60 of these having reduced prices.

The Patricia A Dichiaro School instructs middle school students and is rated at 8 out of 10 points, and Bronxville High School ranks 10 out of 10, both according to Great Schools.
Many institutions of higher learning surround the Yonkers area, including Sarah Lawrence College in Bronxville and the College of Mount Saint Vincent. Students can learn radiology at St. Joseph’s Medical School of Radiology in Yonkers or nursing at St. Paul’s School of Nursing in Rego Park.
